كشف الناطق باسم مليشيات الحوثيين ورئيس وفدها المفاوض في مشاورات الكويت عبدالسلام فليته أن هناك مقترحاً كويتياً بتعيين مستشارين عسكريين وجنود من الكويت وعُمان في «اللجنة العسكرية»، المشكّلة من كل الأطراف، والتي تشرف على عملية التهدئة في اليمن.

وقال خلال تصريح صحفي لصحيفة الجريدة الكويتية " إنه من الضروري عدم تدخل أي سلطة، بمن في ذلك الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي، في عمل تلك اللجنة، بحيث لا تصدر أي قرارات بإضافة أعضاء إليها أو استبعاد أحد منها، مؤكداً أن الوفد المشترك بين مليشياتهم وحزب «المؤتمر الشعبي العام» اقترح نقل صلاحيات هادي العسكرية إلى تلك اللجنة، مع نقل صلاحياته الإدارية إلى الحكومة.

وكشف أن المبعوث الأممي الخاص إسماعيل ولد الشيخ ألغى جلسة كان مزمعاً عقدها في السادسة من مساء أمس لأسباب غير معروفة.
