 تمكن الجيش والمقاومة الشعبية في مديرية نهم  من السيطرة على مناطق جديدة في المديرية .

وحسب ما أفاد ناطق مقاومة صنعاء عبدالله الشندقي ، وكما تابع "صحافة نيوز " قال : إن الجيش الوطني مسنودا بالمقاومة الشعبية تمكنوا من السيطرة  على : مناطق واسعه من مديرية نهم هي :قرى آل عامر والضبيعة والذراع ونمله.

كما تمت السيطرة على مواقع استراتيجيه هي: الحمره ونصيب مفتاح والشريه والقصباء والجامع والقرين والنجفه والزعزوع والمشبه . وكذلك منفذ الشويحط الذي يسيطر على مناطق ووادي وسط.

كما قال الشندقي : يتم الآن يتم محاصرة عناصرالمليشيات الانقلابية في منطقة وسط بعد السيطره على بداية الوادي منها .

وتابع الشندقي : أن هذا وقد قتل أكثر من اثنين وعشرين من عناصر المليشيات وعشرات الجرحى منهم وشهيد وجريحين من المقاومة الشعبية والجيش الوطني .

ويأتي هذا التقدم والسيطرة للمقاومة والجيش الوطني بعد الخروقات المتكرره للهدنة من قبل المليشيات لأكثر من مائة وخمسين خرقا ومناشدات الشرعية للأم المتحدة والمجتمع الدولي لردع هذه المليشيات ولكن دون جدوى مما اضطر المقاومة والجيش للقيام بالرد والردع .
