صرح وزير المغتربين المهندس علوي بافقيه أن مصلحة الهجرة والجوازات، والسفارة اليمنية بالرياض والقنصلية العامة بجدة ستستكمل خلال الأسابيع القادمة التجهيزات النهائية للبدء بصرف جوازات سفر لحاملي بطائق ”هوية زائر” لليمنيين في المملكة العربية السعودية والبالغ عددهم حوالي 463 ألف شخص.

ووفقاً لوكالة سبأ التابعة لهادي قال: ” أنه سيتم إنشاء مركزين إصدار للجوازات في العاصمة السعودية الرياض ، ومدينة جدة للبدء في عملية صرف الجوازات لحاملي “هويةزائر”.

وعبر وزير المغتربين عن شكره للقيادة السياسية ممثلة بفخامة الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي رئيس الجمهورية على متابعته الحثيثة لهذا الملف وإرساله طلب رسمي لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عدالعزيز آل سعود لمنح اقامة نظامية لحاملي” هوية زائر” و كذلك اشرفه المباشر بما يتعلق بفتح مراكز إصدار الجوازات لحاملي “هوية زائر” ليتمكنوا من الحصول على المزايا المقدمة لهم من السلطات السعودية والعمل بطريقة نظامية وفقاً لأنظمة وزارتي الداخلية والعمل في المملكة العربية السعودية.
