في خطابة الذي القاه في ميدان السبعين بمناسبة العيد 26 للوحدة اليمنية تجاهل رئيس اللجنة الثورية لمليشيات الحوثي محمد على الحوثي ذكر الرئيس السابق علي عبدالله صالح صباح اليوم

 وذكر محمد الحوثي في خطابه ان صناع الوحدة هم الرئيس الشهيد إبراهيم الحمدي وعلي سالم ربيع كما كرمهم بوسام الوحدة. وقد أدى تجاهل مليشيات الحوثي لذكر المخلوع صالح او علي سالم البيض الأمر الذي أثار غضب واستياء أتباع المخلوع صالح. ويرى مراقبون ان الحوثي تعمد تجاهل ذكر المخلوع صالح وذلك بعد الخلافات الشديدة بينهم في الفترة الأخيرة بالإضافة الى وجود ثار بينهم وبين المخلوع صالح حيث يتهموه بانه قاتل زعيمهم الروحي حسين الحوثي.
